Although abstract in form, Ben Lowe's work is typically inspired by nature. By paring down form to its bare essentials, recognisable imagery is reduced to simple shapes. Sometimes works are without specific subject matter, instead he relies on the balance of colours to reflect emotions, or the feelings evoked by a particular time or place.

Ben embarked on a career as a full-time artist in 1999, quickly gaining an appreciation from private
collectors and has gone on to work alongside designers, architects and art consultants on multi-million pound interior projects for some of the world's most exclusive hotels, restaurants and residences.

Recent commissions include: The Knightsbridge Apartments, No.1 Royal Exchange, Park Plaza County Hall and ‘Siren’ superyacht for Newcruise.
